Do you ever feel like you don't deserve your success?

"Have you ever achieved a major success, but instead of celebrating and saying 'Alhamdulillah,' you felt a nagging voice in your head that just won't stop whispering:"

If you’ve ever felt this way, let me tell you—this is called Imposter Syndrome. The irony is that this feeling doesn’t haunt those who are just 'winging it'; it specifically targets the high achievers, the hard workers, and those who are constantly evolving.

This often stems from a lack of self-worth, rooted in a perfectionist upbringing or a relentless pursuit of perfection. I see this frequently in my coaching sessions; a client’s healthy drive for growth can often morph into harsh self-criticism and a desperate chase for perfection

"I see this quite often in my coaching sessions; clients can shift from a healthy drive for self-improvement to harsh self-criticism and a relentless pursuit of perfectionism .

"I’m going to share 3 practical steps that will truly help you if you’re struggling with Imposter Syndrome:

1- Document facts, not feelings:

Numbers and achievements don’t lie. Keep a 'Success File' (a thank-you note, a successful project, or a promotion). Refer back to it whenever the voice of inner doubt gets louder.

2- Shift your perspective:

Feeling inadequate in a new phase doesn’t mean you aren’t qualified for where you are; it simply means you are 'learning" .

Replace the mindset of 'I must prove myself' with 'I am here to grow and add value.

3- Talk it out:

Imposter Syndrome loses its power when brought into the light.

"Sharing your doubts with a Mentor or a Coach deconstructs these thoughts and puts them into their true perspective. Ultimately, my friend, your success was never an accident. Believe in your achievements and value yourself—because you truly deserve the place you have reached. My question for you: How do you handle moments of professional doubt?
